SUVs and Tires
A sports utility vehicle or SUV is a term for a station wagon type vehicle built on a light truck chassis. These vehicles are generally four wheel drives and have therefore a vast use as off road vehicles or for towing and other more heavy duty work. They are generally reckoned to be safer vehicles, because of their high road clearance and sturdier frames. The popularity has since declined because of the high cost of gasoline, as most SUV’s are gas guzzlers.
